There is plenty to see and do in this beautiful part of the country so, whether you are travelling to see us from the elsewhere in the UK or even further afield, Derbyshire makes an excellent touring base.

We have the stunning Peak District, the UK’s largest National Park; many historic National Trust properties such as Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall; and the Alton Towers and American Adventure theme parks for the young and young at heart.

Why not plan to spend a few days or a weekend in the area – you can be sure a warm welcome awaits!
